    Sub XRL Jacks

Hi I tried searching for the answer to my question but I couldn't find anything.
I recently purchased a powered bass monitor for musica live performances. I'd like to use it for home theatre use when I'm not performing. There is XLR inputs and outputs. My Harman Kardon AVR 325 uses RCA subwoofer output. Can I use this powered bass monitor as a subwoofer for my home theatre by using a XLR to RCA audio cable?

You CAN use an RCA to XLR cable...

I do not know that a bass monitor will be useful as an HT sub, someone with more experience will have to chime in.

Thanks dyazdani. I figure I should be able to. Here's the speaker I'm talking about.

Hook it up! The XLR to RCA will work just fine. You may not get as deep bass as an HT sub,but you will get some thump.

The main difference is that the balanced has a +1db gain and the rca has a -10db loss. You may have to turn the bass gain up some to even out the sound. But is should not be a problem. A music center near you should have the adapter that you need.

              Halo A52 XLR/RCA inputs question
              by suds1280
I finally pulled the trigger on purchasing an A52, and I wanted to ask a question, as I could not find the answer in the owner's manual. I wanted to see if I could have both RCA and XLR inputs connected on the A52. I know that there is a selector switch on the A52 as to what inputs to use, but will...

I need the three analog inputs but i'm a bit concerned!

My vinyl thing will go to L2/R2,
a switch with 3 things connected to L3/R3,
use an XLR/RCA adapter for the L1/R1 for connecting a tape machine.

              I need...

Is there Volume control using XLR Bypass
              by misterdoggy
I think I am going to buy the Goldmund Digin which is a DAC pure and simple, one input to 2 analog outputs. they Say this is top DAC stuff and compares with their Nemisis line in quality.

So I was thinking of having my Ayre D-1XE transport send the digital signal Rca to the Digin which...

              Hi!

I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that I also have some Parasound equipment in my system.
