I have just bought an RV that came with a Legend TV set, which I have never heard of. For now I am connecting a Philips DVD player but the sound, although maximized on both the TV and the DVD player, is still very low. The TV and the DVD player are connected via HDMI cable, which seems to be the best connection, but again the sound is very low. Seems like with the settings maximized, the audio should be blasting me out of the RV, but really it is only just at a conversational level. Is there anything I can do to increase the audio level?

Recheck your connections it may be the hdmi cable and try the standard rca jacks for audio and or use component cable just to make sure there is no a difference in sound quality.
I am not sure what a legend tv is ether it could a rebranded set or made specifically for the rv by the manufacturer itself.Robert- Bottom

by David MeekI saw a new (to me at least) trailer this weekend for the upcoming The Legend Of Zorro. It's a sequel to The Mask Of Zorro, and both stars - Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta Jones (woohoo!) - have returned to reprise their roles. You know how deceiving trailers can be, but it looks like it could...-

by Shane MartinMask of Zorro was a great movie. Legend of Zorro which is the sequel is not.
The characters are the same but this time we get a completely ludicrious plot that drags out for 2 hrs and 17 minutes not to mention little action. There are only 3-4 action sequences otherwise the story plods...-

by Chris DI thought I'd post this to help out those who have taken the plunge into HD-DVD and/or Blu-Ray, to understand the BASICS of the new HD audio formats that it includes.
The question is, when I pop in a new HD-DVD or Blu-Ray, when I get to the main menu, I've got a choice of several different...-

by Chris DQuite a thread title, I guess. Perhaps I should subtitle it, "or how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb... I mean, theater."
As the title says, I've added HDMI 1.3 audio decoding to my home theater, centered around the Parasound C1 home theater controller. As...-
