Damn! I have to many boxes!

I've just make another speaker purchase. B&W 602 s3. It's come to a point where I don't think I can make another audio purchase and keep the damn box.

If you just saw the size B&W 802 boxes plus my subwoofer boxes. My gosh, the horror. Naturally there are many others. For those of you with a WAF, I don't know how you sell it to the misses. Lot's of TLC I suppose. :W

Boxes are good for resell and transport. I actually keep most of my boxes in the attic and try to purge the ones I don't need, but I have a vast collection myself.

    Peace and blessings,

Yeah, I've got a large pile of boxes in my basement. Maybe we should start a new thread where we can post pictures of our box stacks...?

Lost most of mine in a cellar flood. Going forward they are now kept in my bedroom walk in. Just the way it is now.

Well, all my boxes actually are currently full of the actual equipment. Sitting in some storage room in Anchorage, AK, waiting for me to come pick them up and move into some house. I suppose I should update my user profile, too...

Luckily the condo I live in has storage units for each unit, about 4' x 8'. Gives me plenty of room for all my boxes, otherwise I dont know what I would do with them. And next week I am moving into a house that has a crawl space perfect for box storage.

Like Chris all my stuff is currently in the boxes, including a new Tosh XA2. Cant wait to watch the Matrix once I am in the new place. Then I will finally be able to turn the volume up to "11".

It is quite amazing how quickly one runs out of room for them. Just the speaker boxes alone (8 in my case), take up quite a bit of space.

Hopefully I'll get more room for them when we purchase a house.

                    Thanks!

I have already warned my wife that when the HT stuff gets set up in the new house that movie watching is going to get a whole lot louder, one of the benefits of a house vs a condo.

 Funny but true. I vote for that thread. I admit that I secretly like certain boxes better than others. ops: The Simaudio Moon boxes are cheapo for components that cost thousands whereas the Cambridge Audio Azur boxes are way cool with British flags, a big blue ocean wave, and claims of being "The New Wave of British Hi-Fi". My son wanted me to keep my B&W boxes in plain view for weeks! Regards, Russ

I can't help but notice you have boxes in front of your fridge!! Considering the high important of the fridge (beer, sweet and sour mix for Long Islands and other essential items) it appear you have a crisis on your hands. I can understand if you stack boxes on your bed, but in front of your fridge, that's getting personal!

Pez, a crawl space is nto very good for boxes, draw moisture, spiders, trust me, if it's what I picture as a crawl space, when you pull them back out in 4 years, you will say holy moly why did I ever put them down there! Attic is fine, outdoor utility building that is off ground is ok. but not in a crawl space.
