Well at least one company is trying to use their brain in this "fluster-cuck". I'm a little frightened to know how much studios are going to want for a disc containing 3 formats...and I'd also imagine it doesn't allow for dual layers of any of them but at least someone's actually trying to accomplish something smart and useful. Regardless, I'm not holding my breath for either format at this point.Jason- Bottom

Just because something is patented doesn't necessarily mean that it's possible! Nonetheless, alleviating the consumer's need to choose a format is obviously a good marketing strategy.
I doubt that the discs would be able to command much of a price premium, because most buyers would want only one of the formats anyway. The big savings would be for the manufacturers and retailers who wouldn't need to make, ship, and stock three times as many discs.- Bottom
