My video/audio room is 24 ft wide by 26 ft long with 11.5 ft ceiling. I have an Axiom Epic Grand Master 350 set of speakers (6 total) and need a receiver that will complement these speakers. What would you recommend I audition?

Sometimes Less Is Better
If I can get the same results for 5 bills as I would 8 bills, then 5 it is. However, since I have slightly less than 20 bills in the speaker system I want to utilize their capability. I can go higher but the top would be in the 12 range.- Bottom

Ummmmm....Is "12 bills" 1200 or 12,000 ? Either way , you may very well be able to find an audio store that will arrange or allow a demo in your home. In either price range there is much quality audio gear out there-audition , audition , audition. If you can't audition , at least listen to it first!Lee

Denon, Yamaha, Marantz and Sherwood-Newcastle would be a good group of receivers to start with..

I have made plans with a local Definitive Technology dealer to hear Studio Monitor 350s and anything else he has on the floor. Don't know what brand receivers he has in stock. I would like to get a set of Axiom Epic Grand Masters and listen to them but I don't have anything to drive them. Not having a receiver limits my home listening capabilities. However, I will go and listen to systems within 120 miles of Florence Alabama. My current list of receivers include Pioneer VSX-1015TX 7, NAD 753, and HK 635. This is not a locked in list but rather a starting point. I have eliminated many already based on comments from forum members along with self research.

Nick I am going to say this one here. I see no reason for you to post 1 -2 words in a post just to open another and another to do the same. We are not sure the idea behind this practice but it is annoying. Please post as others do...... would be appreciated :TCLIVE

by RenHi,
I am considering purchasing the Axiom m80 or Epic 80 Home theater system. Or even the m60.
If anyone has the Axioms and live in either the Montreal/Ottawa area...I would love to hear your set-up.

by RampantOrdered last week Epic 60-500 Axiom speakers to go with a Cary Cinema 11 and a Rotel RMB-1075 that I recently purchased. Discovered last evening that the Rotel is going to be too tight of a fit going into a cabinet bay that is 8 inches high. In talking to my Rotel dealer today one replacement choice...-
