Help with Tactile Transducers. Brand? Models?

I am yet to try them out in my system but have checked them out at CES year after year. I know it's best to have them set to just barely feel them to just add that extra factor. I have a Halo C2 Pre/Pro and it has the dedicated output for these and I want to use it.
My questions are: What's the best brands? Are there good wireless models or should I just go wired? How do they mount to a couch?
I have a curved 4 section couch, how many should I use?
Thanks for the help and opinions. I'm looking for opinions from people that have experience with them, not people who have read reviews. I've already done that 10X over.

I believe Chris D owns some tactile transducers. May I humbly suggest you use the search function for your request . However, I did find these interesting articles:

Tactile Transducers , check out the PDF User Guide.

Also this FAQ Tactile Transducers FAQ

        Peace and blessings,

I have a Buttkicker that was attached to my couch. They are a great addition to a home theater. I have recently upgraded to two couches and subsequently ordered another buttkicker, one for each couch!

If you have specific questions about these feel free to PM me, and I will try to answer best I can.

Hmmm...thought I replied to this thread already. Did you post this in multiple subsections here at HTG, Randy? In any case, yes, I own Clark Synthesis TST's, and will reply back to you when I get home in a few days.

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

Okay, Randy, I'm back. Follow the FAQ link that Azeke posted, it's probably the best tactile discussion I've read around. Also check out what I've posted in this thread here today:

I'm going to write a full tactile experience post, hopefully later today, that should give a much greater exposition on the topic for you. Stand by, and I'll see what I can do for you.

                Ok, slayer, I'll step up....

                Here's mine.....

And here's where I got them.....

I'm using and old Receiver (70wpc) that is MORE than sufficient. Current volume knob setting is on #2 out of 10.

If you have not done something by now, let me know if you have more questions.

                Bob

I have a single Clark Synthesis in a couch, and it is plenty for the application. The guy at the left also uses them.
