Any experiences working with hide glue?
          by cdwitmer
I recently subscribed to a harpsichord builder's list (HPSCHD-L) that has, as you might expect, a lot of threads concerning hide glue in its archives. I had known that hide glue is handy because at high temperatures (high relative to room temperature, that is) it softens so instruments can be disassembled....

So, it has been a while since I've posted on here although I like to check in and read up on new projects, etc. This was my project from what I can't believe was 8 years ago!

Is it generally better to build the cabinet with a single thickness of boards, and then lay the outer...

Modula MTM's to look like Monitor Audio's
          by dar47
My buddy David at work was considering buying some Monitor Audio floor standers and later building the rest of the 5.1 setup. I said he should maybe forgo the Audio Monitors and build the Mudula MTM's in a tower format as his room is rather small. I offered to build his cabs as his was stuck in the...

          Existing Condo and Wires
          by ajhagen
Just found this wonderful website, and was hoping ya'll might have some ideas for me.

I have a low end system/5.1 receiver. Presently, the front and center speakers sit on on top of the tv, with the speaker wires running down the back where I can't see them.

          The rear speakers...
