Lacy Van Zant, father of Ronnie (founder of Lynyrd Skynyrd), Johnny (current Lynyrd Skynyrd lead) and Donnie (38 Special) has passed away at age 89. Here's the story from CNN's website. He was a pretty cool ol' fella.
