How can you not like Santana???

Until recent, the lastest Santana album in my collection was "Festival" which featured a song that I love called "The River". This album was purchased in 1976...Wow!

Get in the time capsule...okay, we are here at 1999. Can this be??? Santana????

Yup! Still cranking out great tunes. "Supernatural" is proof that he's still one of the all-time greats.

With artist like, Dave Matthews, Lauryn Hill, Eric Clapton and others, this CD delivers the goods yet again.

I have just about everything Santana did and was really glad to see him recognized by this younger generation when he came out with Supernatural. I even stuck with him when he sorta went off on a spiritual thing in Caravans and a few others. But there isn't much he's done that I won't revisit. Black Magic Woman is certainly number one in my book.

Another big time Santana fan here. I must have 20 albums all told, between vinyl, cassette, CD, and even the Supernatural Live DVD. Been a fan since my dad took me to see the Woodstock movie in the theater.

I just wish they hadn't used so much compression on Supernatural- it was really designed for radio- no dynamic range at all compared to my SACD of Abraxas.

Has anyone run across one of my favorite Santana discs, Blues for Salvador? Awesome guitar work on several tracks. A good one to just put on, sit back and listen to.

I couldn't find it in this neck of the woods. Have to wait until I make my next trip to Halifax. It's a 4 hour return trip and weather hasn't been nice for travelling. I can say this without hearing it, David. I WILL LIKE IT. I'm a dyed in the wool Santana fan.

Probably only by not ever having heard the music! :>) Creative, compelling, an interesting listening experience... the original Santana "Abraxas" on vinyl is one of my prize possessions as a collector -- and as a listener.
