    Chesky Records Still Around?

    Hi all,

I'm wondering (especially for those in the NY area) if Chesky is still in existence? I've been trying to contact them by phone and email and so far get no response.

    Cheers,

I Have a few Chesky CD's and like them very much. Very minimalist approach to recording however.......usually with only a couple of high quality mics in high resolution digital. I haven't seen anything new from them in awhile though!!??.

They are quite good. I have a few too. Just wanted to add some older ones that seems to be out of stock everywhere. On their site, they list it but since their site's date is so old, I was hoping to contact them direct for the straight answer.

Left them another voicemail...*insert cricket's chrips*

Breaking with modern conventions - a highly musical 2-way system using an 8" woofer
              by theSven
              By Jon Hancock

This article will describe the fruits of my efforts to build a moderate sized speaker which might be moderately above average in performance for a basic two-way system. I desired a speaker like this both for my own use in secondary systems, and to fill a need for some friends, who desired fairly full range response (i.e., “it’s gotta have good bass”). Also, though I have access to a good wood shop, many potential DIY enthusiasts may not, so I hoped to use a modified...

Hi to all. Thanks to the help of hifiguy and KevinD my RSP-1069 is working perfectly and now I can focus myself on settings and performance.
The first thing I noticed when I started listening to movies were the high frequencies, much more present and detailed if compared to my previous RSP-1066....

              by David Meek
I've been a member of HD Tracks since I purchased my Olive Opus music server. At first there were just a couple of albums that interested me, and over the past couple of years there have been the occasional offering that I downloaded. Now, that lack of popular titles seems to be changing with the...
