I just read recently on a tube-equipment forum that we are currently receiving an enormous amount of added radiation due to the fact that a lot of solar flares are 'flaring' at the same time. I also noticed that I get a low-level (in the noise floor) high-frequency buzz out of my right channel which just started recently (about 4 days ago). I boiled it down to the outlet powering my right power amp. Here's the good part: this buzz is only there during the DAY! It's not there at night. Coincidence? I'm going to wait it out a few weeks to see if the buzz disappears with the decrease in solar activity. Lucky for me though, I really only listen to music at night.
