This is a video I came across for a new product, a new software plug in for Universal Audio DAW hardware, which provides an emulation of a popular Neve mic pre and equalizer unit- the video is interesting in that it show how the sound is manipulated, not just by EQ but by deliberate introduction of level related distortion and compression- just a little insight for those of you who might not be familiar with some of the more "creative" ways recording gear is used.

I wasnt expecting a whole lot of bass to be recorded in the side channels but I was wrong. Not on all movies of course but on some movies...-
