Those subs looked like my two Energy's. I better go down and see if mine are still there...

I had a question relative to this that got moved.

I'd appreciate if someone checked out the bottom of my thread.. I've got 3 unanswered questions in a row..

Right now I'm watching a movie (Snatch) on a 50" rear projected LCD Sony. It looks good. However my current HT if you want to call it that is a relic from when I knew nothing about tech - it's some 5.1 Sony DVD receiver and it's time to get rid of it. For starters - What is MTM? I haven't found anything in the HT

Thanks guys. I've had them for a week or so. The speakers are Revel's. Studio's for the mains, Voice center, Embrace surrounds, and the S30's for the rears. The rest of my system is now needing some serious upgrading. My wife is going to hate me.

                        Hi 'yall,

I was wondering whether you've had experiences where you set-up your speaker system in a very, very precise and measured way, and then found out that you had a "sweet spot" where the music was undeniably, unabashedly, uncompromisingly AMAZING - and that outside of...

                        Hey gang,

Im getting ready to do a home theater soon and have a few questions on the basic concepts and practice of subwoofer placement. Nothing specific, just questions in a general setting...

                        1. I hear people move the couch and place the subwoofer there instead of ON...

Well, I quitely added this TV to supplement my front projection since I saw real quickly that I was going to crank a lot of hours on my PJ in a hurry. It's an HDTV monitor, the following applies: (Extracted from Plasma Depot since it was actually better than Sony's writeup.) I won't address each feature...

                        Hi all,

Here are a couple of quick and dirty "rules" that I've used off and on for years when it comes to the initial placement of speakers in a room. They are the "Rule Of Thirds" and the "Rule Of Fifths".

The Rule Of Thirds is used by dividing...

I am trying to decide between a 6.1 and a 7.1 speaker set up in my new room. I have the amplification and speakers to do either so that's not the issue...what is the issue is speaker placement for both set ups. I have a door on my back wall which is right in the way if I were to set up two rear speakers...
