    A Little Help?

    I'm about to go spend what to me is a lot of money on stereo equipment and I was wondering if anyone here might have some opinions.

    Right now I'm leaning towards buying a rotel 1080 amplifier and a pair of magnepan 1.6QR's. I'll be running an HK receiver as my pre-amp for now as I can't yet make the leap into a nicer model.

    Anyone have a feeling of what this combo might sound like? This will be my first leap into the audiophile realms.

      Have listened to this combo? If you did, did it put a big grin on your face? That is the most important factor. If you can, step up to the 1090 or one of their digital amps because the Maggies are 4 ohm and like power.
