Might be ok for the office.

Exactly. All you need is a Y cable and your IPod goes right into your present system. A dock would be nice for keeping the battery charged but, hardly mandatory.There's no way I would get that for an Ipod. There are far cheaper alternatives out there.

I used to have my iPod connected to my system with the docking station and everything. But, I pretty much stopped using it just because I got tired of it sounding crappy. Then I lost it
