    My new Tubes

    Hi guys

These are a pair of single ended monoblocks that have 845`s on them. They are 32 watts each and while I`ve only had them for 2 weeks now, I have fallen inlove with them.

They power my Open baffles that are a mixture of »Electrovoice drivers and Supravox. The EV is a wideband driver that I feed directly from the amp without any x over. Only the Supravox tweeter has a cap on it of 2.5 MFD.

Also there is a picture of my new subs that have Peerless drivers, one active, one passif.

I can't blame you for falling in love with them... tube gear has a certain allure. I love my cubicle tubicle system too!

The tubicle system is doing great, thanks for asking. After my house fire, it's my only surviving high-end system!

But it won't be long before I'm back in the house and I have a KILLER HT system planned for it (no tubes though, at least not in phase 1). Stay tuned.

Ok, here's my attempt at a review of my recently-upgraded "Cubicle Audio System", featuring the ASL MG Head OTL tube headphone amp, especially designed to fill my head with great sounding music while I slave away at my PC at work!

Before I get into the details of my new gear,...

Ok, it's time for an honest feature benefit comparison! The reigning champ PS2, vs newcomers Xbox and Game Cubicle!

Ok, it's Game Cube. Seriously, I thought about adding a new system, as our PS1 and 64 Nintendo are obviously aging. I would like to see a layout of features, benefits, performance comparisons, software futures, capabilities, etc...

First, in reading tonight, I hear that even though the...

          Driver Tubes: Help Me Decide
          by Armand
Hi. I wanted to grab a pair of 6SL7 river tubes for my Cary SLA70A Signature amp. I'm currently using a used/tests strong pair of Sylvania VT 229's from the 40's. These tubes are outstanding but slightly forward although I'm willing to buy another pair they are that good. So my narrowed down choices...

I have a Xindak LP-1 phonostage. Sounds much better then what most people would think. But now I want to try rolling tubes. Anyone here use JJ tubes? I have easy access to them I need 2 12AU7 and 2 12AX7. Changing which ones will change the sound/tone the most? I just want to warm up the sound just...
