    Thoughts on ATI amplifiers?

    I'd be interested in hearing opinions regarding ATI amplifiers. I'm considering the purchase of a used ATI AT1506. ( 150 watts x 6 channels ) My plan would be to use it to bi-amp my fronts and center ( B&W 804s and HTM2 )

      ATI makes very good products. They tend to be fairly open and forward sounding though which you may or may not find a good match for 804's. That said taste is a personal choice and could very well love the combo

          Sherbourn, Parasound and B&K would be better matches for the 804's. The older Sherbourns are better (5/1500a) than the current H class ones. I'd stay away from class h.

              Well, I am just about to buy my second HCA-1500a. I have about $1k set aside for one of my room's amps, and I can't see going to the Halo A23, as it would be a step down. Perhaps to some, not visualy, but sonically, I can't imagine the A23 besting the 1500a, especially with Martin Logan Aerius i's....
