Hello,
A model of my DIY loudspeakers i have served Ti6k- JBL. My first contact with
them, was in distant 2005.
I started working with them in 2009 and finished in 2012.
The loudspeakers are "SEAS"- Excel / Tw-1”, Mw-5”for center 2х 5.5”,Bass-8,5”/ and cross-over parts- "Intertechnik".

Nominal impedance- 8 OhFreguency Range 30Hz-20kHzCharacterstic Sensitivity(2,83V/1m)- 87db
Long Term-110W.
Have are some pictures, if there is interest, i will continue.

The finish is 35-40 layers of acrylic auto varnish and after each layer- polishing .

I'm sorry, I missed your post, please excuse me!
This is an aluminum patch, i use it up so the layers do not stick to the matrix - it's not involved in the construction of the cabinet.

That is some seriously complicated and beautiful cabinet building and it's a shame the inside support construction is hidden at the end.

I want to show you how I measure the volume of the cabinet with a complex structure;
From waste material I made this gadget ,that takes part in the measurements and when assembling the cabinet:
I am approaching to the measurement of the internal volume:
On the fifth photo ,the red line is the waterline, the volume of cabinet must be fill with water next to it / everything must be perfectly horizontally!/.
-I measure the weight of the my vented inner construction - 3.5 kg.
-The amount of water is 42 l. in the box; 42-3,5= 38,5 l, 4.5 l more than what's needed - what's next?
The problem is that my investor likes the vision of the column.The decrease in volume must occur inside the construction of the cabinet.This sends the project in a more initial phase,we have a new requirement for the project, second W18 EX001.

I have an idea to make a new project to in the base there should be two 10" loudspeakers - just an idea. They look like animals, maybe dinosaurs, but important are 20Hz.

I continue with the collection of the cabinet;
Now I can make the exact measurement of the volume. And that's 31.5l, just as much as I need!
Oh, l forget to show you what I did to get that volume!
I maked a filter compartment (for the MW and TW), the W section will be in the box;

You have correctly understood, I do not use "CNC", everything you see is in the post; #21, of course I have many more tools.

My idea in building the speakers / cabinets / is to make them so massive that I do not use soundproofing material . The weight of the cabinet in pure form is 21.4 kg.

The first home tests are good. My current surround speakers of " Technics" CA-10 with a good sound from 1997, they are sadly retreated himself ..



After the measurements, this is are Technical data:
Frequence Range; 33-25000 Hz
Long term Max Power; 200 W
Crossover Frequency; 2800 Hz
Impedance; 4 Ohms
Sensitivity; 90 db SPL
Cabinet Volume; 31 L
Gross weight / without stand /; 27kg.

Wow! amazing skills and beautiful speakers. Deserving of any $20,000+ retail speaker!

I am in the process of building a seas 3 way but a step down in terms of cabinet and prestige rather than excel line (27TDFC/G, L15 and L26 drivers) however a sloped front similar to yours.

Do you have any measurements or crossover sims you can post please?

This project is very old. The all measurements were done in a" PAS.BG" laboratory, at that time in this place were produced another DIY- Loudspeakers for sale .. I have saved only one chart (the most important) with the filters, I'm sorry!
