Yes, that's the correct one for 'R16'. The previous one (smoother) was for 'S16'. It had much simpler baffle.- Bottom

So years later, do you still feel the W-frame design reduces cabinet vibration enough to make separate upper-range driver baffle mounting as in the LX521 unnecessary?

I agree with you completely on the H1212. Around 2.5Khz it is quite "shouty". didn't appear in low power distortion sweeps, but the shoutiness was volume irrelevant. I reverted to using the fabric dome which was better.
I was also pairing with an L15 which may have contributed as well (3rd order breakup around 2.7KHz so may not have been attenuated enough.- Bottom
