Hey Everyone,
Don't post much at all but do hang around reading all of the great information here and thought I would post the finished product of Paul's Classix 2.5. It was a few months of sneaking away to the garage for an hour or 2 but managed to pull it off with only 1 major mishap. Anyways, here's the finished product (and a few of the build. Please excuse the mess of a garage...) -
And the mishap while flush trimming the baffles. Live and learn...trim slowly....
The box is finished in wood glue/water mixture, bondo, primer and then a few coats of epoxy appliance paint.
The baffles are curly maple with walnut on either side and then finished in 4 coats of Waterlox Original.
I couldn't be happier with both how the look and more importantly how they sound. They easily fill my main floor with only being run from a little Lepy 2020!
Thanks!
