With winter upon us, I am looking for a speaker project. Can someone recommend a speaker design, preferably something like a MTM to start on.
Maybe something that I would like enough to replace the Maggie 3.6s I have had for so long.
I enjoy woodworking, but the cross overs will be a challenge.
I have looked a the Nat P and the Modulas in the Mission Accomplished thread. I am not ready to tackle the Wavecor Ardent, although it is a beautiful speaker.
Size is not a limiting factor, and a budget of $2k.
Also something well documented to make buying all the cross over and speaker parts less daunting.
My experience level is I have build 4 sealed subs and a pair of Zaph speakers.
Low extension is not a priority, so monitors would be fine.
Help me limit my choices.
Thanks,
Mark
