While I'm trying to finalize my decision on a pair of built S1s , I thought I'd mention I never heard back from Nik Brewer. I emailed him three days ago , so it may just be a case of backlog , but that pretty much took the 2Ts off the table for me. That was the only option I could find. Local guys were a wash.

CNC is not Nik's full-time business, it more of a hobby (which is why his prices are what they are). I would cut him a lot of slack in promptly responding to emails, especially if the 3 days was Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.- Bottom

Yeah , I certainly don't take it personally. I was essentially asking for a favor , so I definitely have that attitude about it. No negativity at all. I hope I didn't give that impression with poor wording on my part.Lee

Wow. The wife just blew a gasket over the S1 speaker idea. Now that's on hold. Certain anatomical parts are dangerously close to a metaphorical vise. I really wanted those speakers , but if I have to choose , the wife wins. *&@#$%
Maybe I can still swing it , but with the economy and my paychecks shrinking she's scared and WAF is a pretty important component. I apologized to Jed for this circus and will just have to see where it goes from here.Lee

I'd like to put in a good word for Nik Brewer. He has been oh-so-patient and kind about the up and down speaker cabinet issue. Great guy , great pricing. All around damn fine individual. :TLee
