    3 way Usher or 3.5

    Greetings gentlemen,

I need some help, I've built Troels Acapella Seas, And Dennis Murphy's Usher 2 ways. I know nothing about crossover design or taking measurements to modifiy the circuit. I do have all the drivers listed below and do need help to build. I want advice so I can get these to work in a 1 box solution, possibly separate chambers for mid-lo1(7") & mid-lo2(8") & 10"woofer.

10' front or side firing and then w8"w7" t

Any help is truly appreciatted, Thanks Mark

I do have a crossover design for the 7" & 8" and Usher tweeter but no box size, Its from the web or AudioXpress or a pub Joe D'Appolito wrote. Sealed or Ported ???

    I have

    4- 7inch 8945A usher
    2 -8inch 8955A usher
    2 - 25w8565-01 Scanspeak

    Tweets

    2 - 9950-20 usher

The crossover is below but i have no idead the box size, I would love to put the drivers to use with the Scanspeak 10"

    Usher Klippel Test
    by gitarretyp
I've seen mentioned a few times here and elsewhere that the Usher 8945A was recently measured by Klippel to have 10mm of xmax, and in the same test set, the Seas Excel W18EX had ~3mm of xmax. Does anyone have the actual reference for this information?

    Symmetro: a proof-of-concept

Thought I'd share a project Derek (deschu) and myself are working on. This started with my experience that despite the technical shortcomings of the MTM, I often really like their sound, better than an identical TM at times. I'm not the only one and I think the assumption is that there is reduced sound...

Usher 8955a, Scan Speak 12M, and Peerless HDS 3-way project

This project doesn't have a name yet, but the title pretty much sums up which drivers I'm using. I mocked up a simulation using measurements found online and using the FRD tools. Things look promising. My goal is to have a true 2nd order design, and while the HDS tweeter doesn't have that much output...

12 New Drivers Measured at Zaph Audio

    Just an FYI.

ETA: The Usher 8945A looks like the new low distortion champ at $110, better than anything else. There are several cheapies that did quite well (MCM and the like). The new GR was average.

    Hey guys,

I seem to hang out more often at the PE forums, but lately I haven't been getting much input. Theres a little higher amount of traffic over there and I know another 3 way topic probably doesn't sound too interesting. Just thought I would post this in another forum to see if...
