This will be a high crossover point for one.
#2 it'll have to be really near field like computer speakers.- Bottom

You'll need more than eight to make an array; however, there are better choices. Spend a few more $ and get something like the HiVi B3S.- Bottom

To have the acoustical benefits of a true line array it needs to be as tall as the ceiling....

by thadmanI can get these amplifiers pretty cheap ($270 shipped/each) and was wondering if theyd work with a dipole midbass line array.
I will have 2 of them, each powering a tower of 4 HF 15s on a 24 x 96" baffle operating up to 250/300hz.
The (4)15s per tower will each present...-

by rhubarb9999Here is a project I put together over the Labor Day holiday. The drivers are 3 1/2" Panasonic full range speakers from a guy on eBay. My original plan was to clone the Bose L1 system for use with my band .. but the band broke up. So I decided to build a quick and dirty (and cheap) line array...-

by Paul HI've been looking at line arrays, doing some initial scheming for the next project.
Spacing for line array tweeters is recommended to be extremely close - less than 1.5" centre-centre per some sources. This seems to me to bring 3 options - large planars like the RD50, smaller planars...-
