My goal: On-Wall MTM speakers (LR or LCR) for HT room, BR, DVD, mp3 alike
My room: approx 12x16 or so
Requirements: A non-purely rectangular enclosure, as shallow as feasible for on-wall application, can be as tall as needed (within reason), but would like to keep width down if possible.
I have, what i believe to be, a possible enclosure design shown below. Would this be at all feasible (even if the dimensions need to be tweaked a bit)? Any recommendations on drivers? Would the driver selection/xover design for the natP inwall/onwall design be at all close to workable for an enclosure like what I want? How shallow can I go really (keep in mind I'd rather not do in-walls or a recessed box into the wall)?
Surrounds and a sub will be added to the system at a later date, but wanted to get the mains going first. I will likely be attempting Zaph's slimlines for the surrounds.
Thanks for any tips.
