    A used technics table isn't much cheaper then something like a Music Hall MMF-5.1 which I can get locally for 500 bucks. My music tastes are extremely broad and the reason I want to build a TT. Also I love building stuff which is my reason for not buying a retail unit. Also there is a nice store here that Wkhanna recently posted about that has TONS and TONS of LP's and I think he said most are under 10 bucks.


    For me going analog is a very personal decision and definitely not for everyone. Me I love music. Old jazz and blues even classical and some old rock/pop like Beatles and what not.
