I just got through putting together a Dayton center channel and am looking at doing some tweaking. I don't have any measuring equipment except a DB meter and a digital volt meter.
Setup is as follows:
Cabinet is 1cu ft tuned to 40hz
2 Dayton woofer 6.5" 295-305
1 Dayton tweeter 1 1/8 295-070
Crossover is a series design at 3200hz, 12uf across the woofer and .20mh across the tweeter. A zobel using a 47uf cap and a 4ohm resistor is wired across the woofer.
Are there any inexpensive ideas for increasing performance without spending a lot of cash?
