Air leakage on the RS woofer line

The RS225's leak air around the center phase plug.Is this a problem? I'm sure the whole line does due to the lack of a dust cap.Just wondering.

I have wondered how they sealed that up!
I have not noticed it actually happening though. If you press one in (gently) the other pops out a corresponding amount for about 3 seconds.

It's normal. It's expected. And it's not at all a problem.

This will happen with any driver that has a phase plug.

Yes. I would also point out that the intention is to aid in dissipating the heat generated by the voice coil.
