            Wow, that's some food for thought. Tambour door material would work great for a sonotube wrap. Not sure about copying the vc vent 'tho. Perhaps a peltier plate would be easier to implement for cooling although not as much 'cool' factor as using a fluorescent cooling liquid like with pc cases.

              Anyone know what he used for the enclosure? What material? He briefly talks about it, but not the material.

                This is just his preliminary webpage, I'm sure he'll go into greater detail in the future.

                That said, he talks about the material being extruded, 1/2" thick. So my guess is that it's a structural plastic possibly a foam.

                    Very well done.

                    Great to see what combining clean design and good acoustics will do.

                    This is waaay better than most comercial efforts.
