This may be old hat to some or you may have something better; but, I really like using titebond 3. It cost a couple more dollars than the other two but it really works for me. The slower setup time means I can nudge my stuff around to get it just right before the glue sets up. With bigger panels and 1 set of arms this really helps. I think the bonding strength is the same so no loss. Cheers.

And it's waterproof vs water resistant (Titebond II) in case you drop your speakers overboard.

Yeah, Tightbond II is usually recommended here. But for my latest project, I've been using III and like it. It seems to spread around easier and easier to work with. I actually got mine at Harbor Freight, and it was cheaper than II is at Lowes.- Bottom
