Hello all,
I've lined a speaker box with deadening material and about to apply dampening material. I'm using 200gsm Dacron. I've had good results with this in my first speaker, and decided to use it again.
My baffle is 1" thick but rather narrow (external width: 7.5"). The inside of the baffle is too narrow to chamfer with my router.
Does anyone have experience with applying dampening material in this situation? Does Dacron impede airflow? Initially I had planned to line all panels. Perhaps I keep the SIDE panels near this area totally clear?
Here's a picture of the situation:
thanks,
Thanh
