    Check out my rack!

Hehe, just spent 3 hrs putting this puppy together, boy am I glad I decided to order the optional wheels at the last minute. Made moving it around a bit easier.
Salamander Cherry and black to go with the B&Ws
Still have to order a longer HDMI cable and move the PC over onto the rack, that will happen within the next few weeks..

yeah, baby! Aren't those Salamander racks AWESOME? Love 'em. If you want a back, and don't like (or can't use) the standard rear panel, you can order Salamander's extended rear panel. I use one for my bedroom rack which is just like your 30 base there, and it works great.

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

Rack looks great. Nice neat cables. However, there is too much wall showing where your tv is :B

                HAHA! Thanks.... i think
I didnt want to dump alot of money into a TV right now as I mostly listen to music. I figured it would hold me over until I can find a great deal on something else, SED is the ultimate goal.

That's nicely done rack, RCD :T.

I certainly enjoy my salamander rack with the wheels. I also purchased the extended back, but have so many wires, that I can't put it back there. I just have find the time to untangle my spaghetti mess ops: .

                  Peace and blessings,

                  Azeke

And let us not forget, the rear panel and other accessories can be added without having to disassemble the rack by using the Salamander Easy-add Drop In Nuts. :T They are available from Audio Advisor at $5.00 for a set of 4. The nuts are not listed on the Audio Advisor website for ordering online, although they may be in stock. You have to call to order them (Audio Advisor SKU #: SALEZN).

Why so many connections from the receiver (used as pre amp) to the looks like a cd or dvd player on top???

                              Thanks all

DVD audio/SACD player on top(lotta rca outs), and yea, the reciever is used pretty much for a preamp as my Sunfire TGII crapped out on me (plus now I have HDMI switching and im using the reciever to power the smaller Blueroom center and surrounds... meh, it works for now)

Still need to get that dang HDMI cable wired in wall. And I decided I want to move the door to open the other side, so I get to take it apart to move it over.

That's awesome... I'm going to be building my rack equipment in within the next few months. I'm sincerely looking forward to better cable management. Smooshed cables - ARRGH!
