Well, I have left my laptop on overnight for a couple of nights and so far not even a hint of burn residue. I really like the glossy look of the new SHARP screen vs the Matte finish of the SAMSUNG.

Glad DeLL is correcting the problem.
Just wish they would have beleived us in the first place.

So when you say glossy Sharp Screen... Is it glossy like the new Toshiba's screen? or just glossier than your Samsung screen?

My Dell/Sharp is a matt finish, which I prefer over the glassy finish of the Toshiba screens. Less distracting reflections.

Hey Bing-a -ling!

Yes it is glossier than the Samsung , but not quite like the
the Toshiba we seen.

I really like it.
That Samsung was crappy,,who needs image residue on there
screen.

Apparently DeLL has a fix for the keyboard.
I am happy with mine now, however wonder if I should persue the proper fix?

Well, it's good to hear the screen is fixed. My Sharp screen isn't glossy... Take a picture Trev, showing the glossy screen.

I have been holding off on the keyboard fix as well for it requires a new keyboard and palm rest. From what I have heard Dell doesn't even supply new windows and P4 stickers for the new palm rest. That sucks.... So I thinking I'll wit for a while until you get yours fixed to descide if i should fix mine.. I mean it works great as it is, but if Dell has a fix.... :twisted:
