yes installing SP2 will give you all the fixes that were in SP1 if you haven't installed it yet.

I've got both SP1 and SP2. Note, there are some issues, it seems, with working with Microsoft Exchange servers with SP2, which aren't fully resolved.

Both "network" downloads (full downloads for local patch) are large, 82 MB and 102 MB respectively, and include all fixes for addressed problems, but not all systems will have all the components installed which require all of these fixes. It is possible to get an online patch which only updates the installed components on your system, but if you need to upgrade other systems in the future, the full download is the best way to go.

It's not my understanding that SP2 is all inclusive of SP1; for NT, I know the service packs are NOT inclusive, and need to be applied in sequence.

Probably the most important fix for SP2 is IDE drivers for non-intel chip sets, and support for ATA-100, plus some updates to WDM which support better audio capabilities, including DD output from more sound cards.

        Regards,

        Jon

Good info Jon, thanks. I may go with this later on, but right now, hate to rock the boat, lol.
