    Camera Media Reader/Windows 2000

Anybody got any ideas on rebooting a device during a windows session? In other words, if I plug media in after the computer is running, I can't seem to pick it up, until I reboot. Sort of an inconvenience if you know what I mean.

    Thanks,
    Lex

Well, what do you expect with that nasty NT based OS you're running, Lexman?

My Flash/Compact Flash/SmartMedia reader under 98SE, all you have to do is click on the drive icon, it chirps at you, and re-reads whatever is plugged in there. That's actually a parallel port device, like the one I use with my NT laptop, since NT doesn't support USB.

Wonder how XP will work with all of that? BTW, I have three copies of Office XP coming in the preview program this week. Feel the power of the Dark side, Luke.....
