    Cheap panny plasma

    Personally, I am not a fan of Sam's monster creation, but for those who don't mind Walmart, they are bloing out a 42" plasma to bolster their holiday sales. It's been reduced from $1800 to $1300. Costco carries it at $1600. I can't find an online reference to it, but I think it is this one .

    Read about it in an industry newsletter.

              Allegedly it is an in store deal as well (in spite of what the web page says) as the entire intent was to move people into the store (loss leader). So if you are really interested, I would hit the store to check.

                      it may be the current hd model (ie not the one picktured)as ive seen them going for 1499 lately
                      fyi BB is selling the ed one for 1200

                          Just picked up a Hitachi 42" plasma from CC (model 42HDS69). One day sale last Saturday, @$300 LESS than current BB and CC SALE price. Native 1081i (Not 768!!) display. Really classy look - brushed aluminum surrounding the black-bordered glass plasma panel - elegant and way better than the cheap...

                          I just got my new Panasonic TH-50PX50U on Sunday. The high def channels from Direct TV with my HR10-250 TiVo over component video look absolutely amazing. Kind of like looking through a window amazing. But the standard def channels look absolutely horrible!

                          After a six month study I was all ready to buy the 50" Pro display (gen8 ) when Panny comes out with the new consumer unit. Where they just trying to piss me off? Don't they know tech crazy people will go nuts?

                          Just purchased this panny plasma last week from best buy I must admit....I wish I did this a long time ago. Black levels, picture detail on sports especially, and movie viewing is impressive. Just wanted to share this. Best purchase in years.....
