just wanna know what will be the best way to wire up my projector

how do i make use of the 720p?

an old Pioneer DV535 dvd player (its old but still works great)

Sorry for being so lazy but without going online and looking at an owners manual, I have no idea what kind of video outputs that unit has .......

component, s-video, scart and coaxial

it's currently wired up using component but i want to make sure i've adjusted the right settings
i have an AVIA disc but i get confused between "contrast" and "brightness" settings

I though this was about 720p?

Contrast is the relative balance between the lightest and darkest parts of the image.

Brightness is just that, how bright the overall image is. Most people run way too bright because of high ambient light levels in the room.
