Brightness and ND filter on 4805

    Hello,
Since i bought the projector i had issue with the brightness of the image.. it was to bright so the black seems..well bright

Now i´m considering a ND4 filter, i already have ND2 filter but even with it still bright.

I dont´want to over do it... so this is why i ask.

My screen is 72" and it has 38.7 lamberts (according to infocus excel calculator).

What do you think?.. a ND3 will be perfect but i don´t think they do ND3 filters.

I was fortunate enough to have the use of a new 4805 & 76-inch Infocus screen for a couple of weeks. I'm planning to buy a projector and screen in mid-February.

(Incidentally, it will definitely be a step up, no matter what: It's replacing a Kloss Novabeam built around 1982. Works...

    Transparency vs. Brightness
    by Lexman
Ok, some people around, not necessarily on this forum have commented on solid Silver cables being bright. I want to give my opinions on the subject, and get your input.

I believe that generally speaking, silver as a conductor allows the true representation of the signal to flow fluidly...

    Infocus 4805
    by trisailerman
I have been very pleased with my Infocus 4805, but recently I noticed that the upper left corner of the image had a shaded area. The color was still good , but there that area of the screen was noticeably less bright. I also noticed that on power up before the lamp became too bright to look at, when...
