I suspect that it's a software switch on the video card to output via DVI.
And you will need the M1-adapter for DVI input on the Infocus as well.

That's simply talking about enabling your video card to correctly output via the DVI output connection. There is likely a control panel in the video card's software that changes the refresh rate, color bit depth, and selected output (RGB/DVI).

If the DVI issue is not in the card's software, then it could be in the projector's video input mode. I have found that my Infocus SP5000 has problems sometimes with the auto input source switching, and I have to manually switch to the input source to get it to display correctly.

Also I have had problems syncing with the high resolution DVI input from my Samsung DVD player. It does 480p, but not 1080i or 720p.
The Samsung tech support says that some Infocus projectors have problems with DHCP video streams through the DVI interface connection. But since it displays 720p/1080i fine through both the RGB input, and 720p from my HD-PVR (with HDMI copy protection), so I'm not convinced that it's an issue with the projector rather than the DVD player.

        -Dean.

For about a year now, a guy named Moome in Hong Kong has been manufacturing cards that plug directly into the electrohome Marquee, Sony, Barco, and NEC CRT projectors. The card accpets...
