    File Scanner

    Hi,

I tired to upload a .jpg picture to my build thread, but the file scanner wouldn't allow for it.

It is just a .jpg file, and only a couple hundred KB.

I'm guessing a bug with the new forum software? Just thought I'd let someone know!

    Cheers,
    Tim

I've opened a ticket over on the VB support forum. It was working for me to upload a photo to a thread and private message, but not working to upload a new avatar. Click image for larger version

I'm on my phone now, but it appears to be working. This is the test.

      P. S. It wouldn't work form my phone or my laptop eariler.

Here is something small, if your looking for bugs!

The HTGuide logo is missing (see attached), but only on dark mode. On the regular color scheme, and blue color scheme it works fine.

My browser is Microsoft edge, running in Windows 11, on an XPS 9500. All updates are current.

When I had to update the forum to use a different build I forgot to put that logo back into place. Thanks for reporting that!

Just thought I would share a bit about my experience here. On the subject, I think I am going to change the description to make this more a general PC area as well as HTPC. I think it's only logical that we have a tech talk place. After all, without our computers, we won't be doing to much posting now,...

              by adinfinitum
              Hello all,
              Been absent for some time.

I've been getting annoyed at my RSX-1055 defaulting back to 2CH and noticed that the latest F/W 2.3 should make the unit default to DPLII cinema. I downloaded all the instructions and started the update but it isn't working.
              Firstly,...

Is Live Update working properly in your MX Editor software?
              by Chris D
Over the last year or so, I've noticed discrepancies in Parasound's MX Editor software program to customize the MX-700 and Sidekick remotes included with the Halo C1 and C2 processors.

It seems to depend on the version of Parasound MXEditor that you're running, and localized just to the...

              NEWS from UGeek.com
In Windows XP there's a file called SYSTEM in the %SYSTEMROOT%SYSTEM32CONFIG directory. On my system it was about 3.5 MB. Apparently it is quite essential to Windows XP operations. WinXP kept booting up saying it was corrupt and that I should repair it with my WinXP disk....
