E-mail when someone replies to topic?

I noticed Trevor_J posted a thread in Club Rotel about not getting e-mail's when someone replies to a topic that interests him.

As I have understood it, by checking the box on the reply page:
Please Email me when someone replies to my topic:
this will only send an e-mail if it is that person that started the thread.

Is this correct? And if so, can we get it to where we can have an e-mail sent to us when someone replies to any topic and not just our own topic?

    Thanks!

Please post a new topic as a new topic, if you have one. I like to see the new subjects, instead of making one thread a catch all for comments.

The Lexicon thread Buzz started, is beginning to catch all conversation here. Glad to see folks post anywhere, but really, seperate is better....

      First meaningful A/V topic

Alright, let me kick this off. I'm in the Army and currently attending the Command and Staff Service School at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. I am tasked to perform a decision paper. My topic is which is the best receiver to purchase. I know it's vague, but hey, it's the Army.

I need your contributions to some guidelines for keeping Club B&W on topic to B&W while still making sure it is a really useful resource for B&W owners and "wanabe" owners all over the world. The challenge is,

A little off topic--question about velcro
      by palmtree
I know it's kinda off topic but this seems to be the best place for all kinds of info and it does have to do with my HT--long story.
Do you know anyplace that sells just the loop side of velcro by the foot or yard. There are plenty of places that sell it but only in rolls of 25 yards as far...
