Upgrade Thread Post / Editing screen?

    Kevin,

I notice that Doug's www.nikonguide.com site has the same software but seems to have a nicer / more powerful set-up for posting / editing threads...

Any chance of enabling that here?

Nikonguide is running a newer version of the forum software (3.5.4), which has some features not available in 3.0.14 that runs HTG.

Eventually we'll upgrade HTG but it's a more time-consuming process since we have a lot of template customizations that would have to be reapplied.

Turns out VB 3.0 has WYSIWYG editing as well... I just had it turned off.

It's on now, and you can enable it in your profile from Admin CP, Edit Options, go to the bottom and change your editor interface to WYSIWYG. If you have problems due to your browser, you can change it back to the standard editor.

            Kevin,

            Thanks

Much nicer to use... You may want to let people know about it generally...

              HTG Belated Anniversary?
              by Bing Fung
Hey all, I just notice it's been about a year since I signed on as a memeber of this forum.

Did the HTG have a birthday party I missed?

              If not, I would like to say;

Happy Anniversary HTG, thanks to it, Doug and all of you that make this a great place to...

Hello all, a quick word from Mats and I. Ok, Mats doesn't know about this message, but I do.

I've been paying attention. Attention to the new feature of "who's online". We tend to keep at least 25-30 people online all the time, and as high as 61 so far. Those are pretty good...

I thought it might be nice to start a thread where guys/girls just tell us a little bit about themselves. Maybe what drives them in life, maybe it's hobbies, maybe it's just your home theater. Whatever it is, I think adding a little humanity to HTG is always a good thing. Tell us where your from,...

Yes, you guessed it, I can now smell 10,000. Let's make it happen sooner rather than later. Come one, come all (well except the morons, flamers, shillers, etc...) help grow HTG to it's biggest milestone yet.

Alternative HTG "Skin" selections at HTGuide
              by Lex
No, I don't mean between browsers. I mean colors. We have an HTG Dark selection which is a maroon/amber/red based color combo, and we also added, my favorite, and my most influential: Blue Ice. We first went down the maroon road. But after we finished it, I decided to try the blue on black/grey...
