Isn't "Go Advanced" really just "Preview Post" ?

For the longest time, it seemed there was no way to preview a "quick reply" until one day I accidentally clicked on "Go Advanced" and discovered that by doing so, the preview page came up. I couldn't detect any other "advanced" functions that became accessible, so "Advanced" really seems to amount to the "Preview" function. For consistency and to save time (I still have to stop and think about what "Go Advanced" means every so often) would it be possible to relabel the "Go Advanced" button to read "Preview Post"?

    Thanks -

    Burke

No, it's not the same. It gives you the smiles and more edit options. For a non-graphics kind of guy like yourself, it probably is the same except for preview. :>)

"Go Advanced" is equivalent to a full reply form, with the edit buttons, smiley box, etc (the same as clicking the Reply button, but it also previews anythig you typed in the Quick Reply box). Quick reply just gives you bold, italic, underline, and quote, unless you type the codes or tags yourself.

Kevin is it possible to add the IMG button to the quick post as well? Its handy having the Quote button there but the IMG one would be helpful as well for the majority of my posts.

              Quick Reply Limitation?
              by David Meek
              Hey Kevin,

Is there a size limitation on posts using the Quick Reply field? I've had several (three, I think) long replies disappear after hitting the Post button.

              rsp-1570 Advanced Subwoofer settings
              by maxwebster
              Hello fellow tweakers,

I have two questions regarding bass management with the 1570:

              1) What is the purpose of the advanced speaker settings for the subwoofer? I am using advanced settings for all my speakers but have left the subwoofer setting at 80Hz because I have no...

Preview Of The Hulk - No Spoilers
              by David Meek

Looky, looky! Just brought up the TIVO and guess what was flashing at me? A preview of the upcoming movie The Hulk. I like Eric Bana A LOT - he was one of the nice surprises in Black Hawk Down. He plays Bruce Banner who, under stress, becomes the Hulk after a gamma ray radiation accident....

              RSX-1056 Advanced Bass Management
              by Pwoida
Looking at buying the RSX-1056 but have a few questions regarding bass management.

In the owner's manual, on page 39, 3rd column under Advance Speaker Setup it says "SPEAKER(front/center/surround/center back/subwoofer): ....."
If you select subwoofer as the speaker to...
