    A True Classic Comes Out On August 5th!

    Finally!



    All you Sci-Fi fans out there take note: On August 5th, in a 50th Anniversary Edition release, the original The Thing From Another World aka The Thing will be available on DVD!

    Being a Sci-Fi buff, a classic Sci-Fi movie nut, and big fan of the stylish, humorous and clever writing style of the better 50's movies, this is THE BIG ONE!

      Thanks for the news, Tex. I have this on cruddy old VHS tape and have been waiting patiently to replace it with dvd. When I first saw this in the theater, it scared the bejeebies outta me.

              Me too George, on both counts - well I didn't make the theatrical release but the first time I saw it as a kid (with my dad, I think) I was scared AND hooked.
