    YES - Symphonic live

Anyone who is a Yes fan from way back should pick this up.

It's last year's tour in Amsterdam with a backup orchestra. They play some old stuff like Close to the Edge, Ritual, Gates of Delirium, etc. along with new things. The orchestra is very unobtrusive, unlike some other rock band/orchestra tours I have seen where it mucks up the songs, instead adding a nice fullness in places, and filling out keyboard and percussion in others.

Has DTS and DD tracks, and has angle view options to go to some animation or stay with the live shots of the band.

This is easily as good as any of the shows I went to in the late '70's/early 80's. Same price too.

It's a live music DVD, so I suppose this is the most appropriate place for this post.

Anyhow, bought a bunch of stuff over the weekend, including Gorillaz, Howl's Moving Castle, season one of Curb, Jeff Wayne's WOTW on hybrid SACD (will post ore on this elsewhere).

    So,...

    Incredible

OK, I've been waiting for someone else to start a thread, but evidently it's gotten too cold up in the great white north and Texas and wherever the rest of you live to venture out to a theater to see this movie.

I seriously, seriously love this film. I have enjoyed all of Pixar's efforts,...

What would the ultimate orchestra speaker be
    by knifeinthesink
I know some of you guys are fans of symphonic music.

If you were going to create the best speaker you could come up with, no holds barred, to reproduce Mahler symphonies, or anything else huge and extremely dynamic, what would the driver choice and configuration be and what kind of XO...

    Live From Where Ever

Ok so this year I get to pick a concert anywhere in the US and my girlfriend and I are going to fly out and make a weekend (or mid week) of it.

I want to base my decision not only a great band or artist, but also a great venue.

Two years ago it was Derek Trucks playing...

Need some advice on speaker choices

    Hi all!

I'm a newbie to this board and can't believe I found this dedicated B&W board!

Anyway, I have a 10 year old Kenwood HT system passed down to me by
my father. It cost around $4-5000 10 years ago! Still sounds pretty good,
    but I'm itching so bad...
