Our TIVO went out and grabbed a film called The Gift. Didn't know anything about it, but thought "why not?". Turned out to be quite a good little thriller about a widow in a small town (Kate Blanchett) that is gifted (or cursed) with ESP. She's asked to help solve a crime and . . . that would be telling, wouldn't it?
