    Journey 2-The mysterious Island

I've NOT a big fan of movie theaters nowadays, but since it's March break and my 12 year old daughter was kickin' around looking for something to do, we decided to check out this film in 3D. Now, I'm also not a huge fan of 3D, but this film pulled of the 3D thing really well and I really enjoyed it!!.

HUGE holes in the plot and lots of issues with believe-ability but then again, this is a fantasy film and it's all about effects so what the hell right!!.

Only 2 problems I had with this adventure........

    1. $28 bucks admission for the two of us......Jezzus!!!!??? :M

    2. $4 for a Oh Henry bar!!! WTF !!!!?? :E Are you kidding????!!!###***

I was pretty wishy-washy with regards to seeing this movie but alas I decided to beat the 105F heat and humidity and head over to the local multiplex. We're lucky to have big stadium style theaters with great A/V. I had a gift card too so the cost was zero to me.

Basically it is a tale of a father and son, owners of a nightclub in Sao Paulo, Brazil, a city noted for its underworld of sex, drugs and money. They feel trapped in the desolation of...

First off let me say that I recommend this movie to all ages. This is one fun movie that is nonstop.

The story's about the Cortez family. Juni and Carmen Cortez are the son and daughters of famous spy's Georgio and Ingrid. The kids handle various assignments, but Juni's been blamed for...

NIM'S ISLAND not really for 72 year olds

It's a nice little family film that plays better to 10 to 12 year old girls who can idenify with the Abagail Breslin character. She's the daughter of an oceanographer who ( rather ridiculously ) leaves her alone on this South Seas island while he goes off on what was supposed to be a two day trip in...
