I've always liked Robert Downey Jr. So I'm planning to go see it.

        Go see this movie. :T

Braved the opening night crowd and glad we did. This is going to be a big summer hit and I'm sure there will be an Iron Man II.

Robert does a great job playing Stark. I never really followed the comic much, so I'm not hung up on comic accuracy.

Very well paced movie, great action.

I am not familiar with the comic book, but I have seen bits and pieces of promo stuff on this film and it looks pretty darn good.

Great! I can't wait for a Sequel. The actors keep this movie fun, you won't catch yourself wishing for the CGI. The story is strong without the suit. Iron Man is just icing on the cake...It's a must own for me, and my kids.

IMDB is my friend. I'm kinda bummed I missed it. If people know about the Marvel Universe, then it is pretty major. For the average person I'm not sure if it would be major, but would still be pretty neat to see.

Saw it yesterday. Damn good movie.

Bmac, is right, "Iron Man is just icing on the cake". The story and action without the suit, more than holds it own.

Yes, the after credits was worth the lengthy credit wait!

My son and I went Friday afternoon for the opening and it was a very enjoyable movie. I look at it as "Transformers for adults", but the kids would dig it too. I wouldn't take anyone younger than 10 yrs. old to see it however. Just my thoughts.

Yeah, I saw quite a few younger than 10 at the show. I intentionally went without my 10 yr old, knowing Tony Stark's history (had the Iron Man comics). After seeing it, I'm going to let my will be 11 in two months see it. As I think the film does a good job of showing Mr. Stark's issues without going over the line.

Coworker watched it and gave it a very good review. Said it was the best comic based movie she'd seen. May have to check it out.

I will be seeing it this weekend with my son. Iron Man was one of my favorite comic books when I was a kid. According to an interview with the director that I saw, the key actors already signed on to do the sequel.

Just saw it today. I liked! I thought it lacked a flow and "feel" that I expected. Some of it was formulaic for a first superhero movie, showing the creation of the superhero. But overall, not bad. And the sound is going to ROCK when I get it on BD in my home theater. I'll give this one :35: out of :5:

I saw this last night and have to agree with Azeke that your kid should be at least 10 plus to see this .
My eldest son who had turned 10 that day found it too scary and I ended up having to leave the film to take him to his mom who was watching Indiana Jones with number 2 son (7).
The 10 year old had previously seen Transformers and the three Spidermen films with out any problems but this was a little dark and violent for him.
I usually see marginal films like this one first before letting the kids see it but was nagged into seeing it.
Even though Transformers had the same rating in Aust (M) it could have done with possible MA or Transfomers should have been PG.
Enjoyed the film overall but was spoilt for me by a very soft picture at the local megaplex and thirty minutes of adverts before the film.
Almost definite Blu-ray buy. 4 out of 5 (for super hero pic)

*sigh*... so I was only able to watch a downloaded version. They played it like 4 at the movie theater here in Japan, and all of those days I was busy at work. So after repeatedly asking if they'll play it again, I've come to accept that I probably won't ever get to see it on the big screen.

Anyways, I finished watching this movie pretty excited. Yeah, it was pretty bad ass. I didn't see the ending after the credits that everyone mentioned cause it was recorded. I'm probably going to buy a PS3 before it comes out on DVD just so I can watch it on Blu-ray. The soundtrack fit perfectly. And like a lot of people said, Robert Downey Jr. pretty much made the movie with or without Ironman. It was like Batman Begins... just enough to keep you wanting more. I definitely give this :5:

Maybe I should have said thirty minutes of stuff I had not paid to see as trailers were included in that time.
It was a lot longer than what I had experienced before at this multiplex. My wife also commented when she came out of Indiana Jones at how long after the session start time the actual film started.

Yes! I was taking my younger cousins to go see Kung Fu Panda last night (which was awesome, btw) and I was like "Come ON let's GO" and one of them was like "Whatever, there'll be like 10 minutes of trailers anyway" and I was like "YES! If we're lucky!!"
