Are you talking about the sequel(State of the Union w/Ice Cube) or the original w/ Vin Diesel that has been out a while?
The original was forgettable fluff and the sequel looks to be horrific at best. Vin was the only thing going for the first one and they don't have it now. The Special FX look awful on this one by just looking at the trailers. I predict a collossal bomb/failure.
IMHO of course.
The current reviews are a hoot though:

Ebert and Roeper just gave this two thumbs WAY, WAY down. Roeper couldn't stop talking about how bad it was... Roger had a few redeeming things to say about it, but still gave it a big thumbs down.

by SayersWebWe received XXX from Netflix this past weekend. If you like action and over the top stunts, this movie is for you. The story was a bit predictable and won't teach you any valuable life lessons. This is a good one to show off your HT system and revel in stunts that you know aren't possible, but are fun...-

by Patrick SunI liked the attitude and quips of xXx (Xander Cage) in this film. The stunts are of the "that is whacked!" variety, but the allure of this film is mainly about the stunts and the action. It delivers on the action, and I did laugh at the quips.
I recommend this film for mainly...-

by KennyGGot my lastest addition of "Total Movie" yesterday, and of course the DVD that comes with it.
Out of 15 trailers, Five of them really hooked me; "O brother, where art thou"' "Cast Away", "the Grinch", "Traffic", and maybe the best..."Shadow...-
