    conversion of voltage

    Hi,

Most of the Rotel equipments come with Jumpers for Voltage changing inside the PCB. This can be easily done by the user. Normaly one or two jumpers will be placed in the respective voltage marked clearly on the PCB. You have to move these jumpers to the required voltage points.

In older version of rotel products the jumper is of LEAD wire in one voltage range and in the other voltage range the LEAD wire is slit. So you have to solder the slit ends and slit the other one for changing the operating voltage.

You just remove the top cover you will discover this.

    Hope this helps.

        Rotel RB-1092 Voltage, etc.
        by EmilSA
My RB-1092 has arrived in South Africa from Michigan, where I managed to track down a silver one.

I have a few questions regarding this amp and I'd be very happy to hear your inputs.

First things first - I need to change the voltage from 110V to 240V. Is it as simple as...

        RSX 1055 Voltage change (Help)
        by hugexpat
        Hello
        I own a RSX 1055.
I have to move back to France ( everything has an end..)

I have been told that the Rsx 1055 can be easily modified by switching some jumpers located in the left end corner (chassis opened)

I found the jumpers. There are three of them,...

Rotel RB-1091 or RB-1092 Voltage Settings
        by EmilSA
Since the Rotel RB-1091 is based in the ICEpower board it leads me to believe it is rather easy to set the voltage from 110 Volt to 230 Volt using the standard jumpers on the board.

I'm looking for two RB-1091's or a RB-1092 at present and seem to have found one RB-1091 in the UK and...

Resources for PCB Desgin and Fabrication
        by JonMarsh
        Hello Folks,

Now and then I get some questions about how do I do some of these projects, particularly at any reasonable cost. A big factor in turning out a nice piece of DIY electronics is the PCB board- both the design, and getting quality bare boards fabricated at a reasonable cost....

        jumpers on AV-receiver
        by Arnold van Oostrum
My AV-receiver has jumpers on the backside for each channel that connects the pre-amp part with the poweramp part. If using an external poweramp, the jumper for the channel has to be removed.

These jumpers are thick metal brackets. I saw that i.e. Audioquest has specific jumpers made...
